Must Attend Startup Events in Stockholm, Sweden

Stockholm's big date is Techarena on 3–4 February 2027 at Strawberry Arena, Scandinavia's largest tech and business conference, with an investor day and the TOP46 pitch competition. Before it come a cleantech investor day, a fintech week in March and a data and AI summit in Kista in May. One change to know: Brilliant Minds goes to New York in 2027 and will be back in Stockholm only every other year.
This guide lists startup, tech, investor and women-founder events in Stockholm and its tech districts (Solna, Kista, the KTH campus) from November 2026 to the end of 2027. We checked every date on the organiser's own website. Where a date isn't published yet, we say so, and we mark each event as Confirmed (date on the official site), Announced (date from a reliable second source) or Expected (based on past editions only).

Run by AI Sweden, the national centre for applied AI. Useful if you sell AI to utilities and grid companies. A week later, Digitalize in Stockholm (11 November, Münchenbryggeriet) brings together KTH's Digital Futures researchers and industry, a good room for deep tech founders.

If you need engineers, this is where KTH students meet employers. Walk the floor first, then decide if a stand is worth it next year. The same week is Global Entrepreneurship Week (16–22 November); we found no Stockholm programme for it yet.

Enterprise data and AI buyers in one place, in Kista, Stockholm's tech district. The Industry Day ticket is the cheap way in.

Summer and autumn 2027

No Stockholm event for the second half of 2027 has a date yet. The big one to watch is Nordic Tech Week: the 2026 edition on 7–11 September was free, with more than 300 events, Tech Open in Kungsträdgården and a Startup Day. Brilliant Minds, usually in June, is in New York in 2027 and will return to Stockholm every other year. Nordic Life Science Days and the Nordic Fundraising Summit are in Copenhagen in 2027.

  • Women in Tech Sweden Conference 2027: the 2026 edition was on 22 April at Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre; tickets went by raffle. Expected in April. Women in Tech Sweden

  • Stockholm Tech Show 2027: the 2026 edition was on 26–27 May at Kistamässan.
  • Stockholm ImpACT Days 2027: the 2026 edition was on 28 September–2 October.
  • SEC-T 2027: Stockholm's security conference, which also runs the women-only BlackHoodie training; no 2027 date yet.

  • Women in Tech Sweden meetup with Vend: a breakfast meetup for women in tech on 20 October 2026, hosted by Vend. womenintech.se
  • DevFest Stockholm 2026: listed for 22 October 2026 in the organisers' call for speakers; the website still showed the 2025 edition.

Recurring meetups and communities

  • Women in Tech Sweden: roughly monthly meetups hosted by companies in Stockholm, Solna and Malmö; free membership. womenintech.se
  • FoundHers Network: breakfast networking for women founders and solopreneurs at a Stockholm coworking space. FoundHers
  • Founders Live Stockholm: five founders, 99-second pitches and an audience vote; the last edition was on 27 August 2026.
  • GDG Stockholm: free Google Developer Group meetups on Android, cloud and AI.
  • KTH Innovation: Collide mixers and office hours for founders from KTH. KTH Innovation
  • Kista Science City: Thursday breakfasts at Semiconductor Arena until 17 December 2026, plus deep tech and defence sessions.
  • SVCA: the Swedish venture capital association runs Venture Morning breakfasts. SVCA
  • Startup Grind Stockholm: a large chapter (almost 7,900 members), but its recent events are online. Startup Grind
Some names have changed or gone quiet: SUP46 now redirects to the Startup People member platform, Sweden Innovation Days is now a website with no event, Internetdagarna has no 2026 edition, and we found no recent Stockholm events for Techstars Startup Weekend or Sthlm Tech Meetup.

Events for women founders in Stockholm

  • Women in Tech Sweden: company-hosted meetups through the year (the last one with Vend on 20 October 2026), and the big conference in April (2027 date not out yet).
  • FoundHers Network: small breakfasts for women founders and solopreneurs. FoundHers
  • Stockholm Fintech Week (17–18 March 2027): its Women in Fintech Speaker Initiative puts women on the stage.
  • Startup Grind Stockholm: recent online talks include one with Feminvest on women's ownership. Startup Grind
Why it matters: in 2024 only 9.9 percent of Swedish venture capital went to companies with at least one woman founder, according to Vinnova. If you organise an event for women founders in Stockholm, send it to us and we'll add it.

Funding and support to know before you go

  • Self-employment residence permit: you must own at least 51 percent of the business and have at least SEK 200,000 in your own bank account, plus more for a spouse and children. Swedish Migration Agency
  • Registering a company: a limited company (aktiebolag) needs at least SEK 25,000 in share capital, and registration costs from SEK 2,400. verksamt.se
  • Vinnova Innovative Startups: grants of up to SEK 500,000 for young Swedish limited companies; the current call closes on 12 January 2027 at 14:00, with information meetings on 2 and 9 November 2026. Vinnova
  • Almi: the state-owned lender offers loans, venture capital and business advice to small companies. Almi
  • Incubators: KTH Innovation (launch programme, apply by 4 November 2026) and Sting, whose autumn 2026 cohort of 21 startups is its largest. Sting

How to get the most out of Stockholm startup events

  1. Plan around Techarena. Early February is when investors, media and corporates are all in town, and the side events fill the whole week.
  2. Apply, don't just buy. TOP46 at Techarena and the Sustaintech Venture Day pick startups by application, and both put you in front of investors. See more startup competitions.
  3. Use the free rooms. Women in Tech Sweden meetups, KTH Innovation Collide, GDG meetups and Nordic Tech Week cost nothing.
  4. Book early. Techarena's early-bird price ends on 5 November 2026, and Women in Tech Sweden's conference tickets go by raffle.
  5. Mind the calendar. Stockholm goes quiet in July and over Christmas; most events are in February–May and September–November.
