Free Carrd Alternatives for One-Page Sites, Landing Pages and Link-in-Bio Pages
Carrd is one of the cheapest ways to put a one-page site online, but its free plan stops at three sites with Carrd branding, and you need a paid plan for your own domain or a signup form. If you want a free one-page site, landing page or link-in-bio page that does more, this guide compares the free plans that actually exist in 2027. We checked every free plan on the tool's official pricing page in October 2026: whether you can connect your own domain for free, what branding stays on the page, how many pages or forms you get, and what the first upgrade costs. Tools that closed or no longer fit are listed separately at the end.
Quick answer: if you need your own domain without paying, use Google Sites (a simple site) or systeme.io (landing pages, email and funnels, one custom domain on the free plan). For the best-looking free landing page on a builder's address, use Tilda or Framer. For a link-in-bio page, use Linktree or Lnk.Bio, and Beacons if you want to sell digital products from it. If you only need a cheap custom domain, Carrd Pro Standard at $19 a year is still hard to beat.

What Carrd Gives You for Free, and What Pro Costs in 2027
To know what you are replacing: the Carrd homepage (carrd.co now redirects to carrd.com) says you can build up to three sites per account and use all of Carrd's core features for free. Free sites carry the "Made with Carrd" branding and have an element limit; Pro plans remove both. According to the Carrd plans page (checked October 2026), Pro Lite costs $9 a year for 3 sites without branding on premium Carrd addresses but still no custom domain; Pro Standard costs $19 a year for 10 sites with custom domains, forms, widgets, embeds and analytics; and Pro Plus costs $49 a year for 25 sites with advanced forms, password protection, redirects and site downloads. There is a 7-day free trial of Pro. So the real question is whether a free alternative gives you a custom domain, forms or more pages without that $19.

The Best Free Carrd Alternatives in 2027
1. Google Sites: free, with your own domain
Google Sites is the simplest way to get a free site on your own domain. According to Google's help page on custom domains, the site owner can connect a custom domain, and you can connect up to five domains to one site. The site must be public, you may need to verify the domain in Google Search Console with a DNS record, and on a work or school account your administrator has to do it. You only pay for the domain itself. The trade-off is design: Google Sites has a handful of themes and none of Carrd's layout freedom, so it suits a simple project page, an event page or an internal team page better than a polished landing page.
2. systeme.io: a free landing page with a custom domain, email and funnels
systeme.io is an all-in-one marketing tool with a page builder. Its pricing page lists a free plan with 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels, 1 custom domain, unlimited email sends, 1 blog and 1 course, with no transaction fees on any plan. That makes it the strongest free choice if your Carrd page exists to collect emails or sell something: the signup form, the email sequence and the checkout live in one place. Paid plans start with Startup at $17 a month. The builder is more template-driven than Carrd, so expect funnel-style pages rather than free-form one-pagers.
3. Tilda: designed landing pages, free on a tilda.ws address
Tilda is the block-based builder that femaleswitch.com itself runs on. Its pricing page lists a free plan with 1 website, up to 50 pages, 100 blocks from the library (600+ on paid plans), the Zero Block editor for your own layouts, built-in analytics and SEO settings. Free sites are published on a free tilda.ws subdomain and show the "Made on Tilda" label; a custom domain and data collection forms need the Personal plan, at $10 a month paid yearly or $15 paid monthly, and removing the label needs a yearly subscription. Choose Tilda over Carrd when you want several designed pages (a landing page, an about page, a pricing page) rather than a single card.
4. Framer: design-led sites with a generous free start
Framer is a visual website builder with an AI design agent, CMS, analytics and SEO built in. On its pricing page the free plan publishes to a free Framer domain with 1 GB of bandwidth, and Framer's help centre says free sites show a "Made in Framer" badge, which disappears when you connect a custom domain on a paid plan. The Basic plan costs $10 a month and adds a custom domain and 50 GB of bandwidth. Pick Framer if you care about animation and design detail more than about price.
5. Webflow: a free sandbox for a site you will grow
Webflow's free Starter plan, according to its pricing page, publishes to a webflow.io address with 2 static pages, 1 GB of bandwidth, 50 form submissions and the "Made in Webflow" badge. Basic costs $15 a month billed yearly and adds a custom domain, 300 static pages, 10 GB of bandwidth and unlimited form submissions. Webflow takes longer to learn than Carrd, so it makes sense for founders who expect the one-pager to grow into a full marketing site with a CMS.

6. Strikingly: quick one-page sites
Strikingly calls itself a simple and focused website builder for entrepreneurs and creatives, and its one-section-after-another editor feels close to Carrd. Its pricing page offers free sites on a Strikingly address; connecting a custom domain needs at least the Limited plan, at $8 a month billed yearly, which covers 2 sites with up to 5 pages each and 50 GB of bandwidth.
7. Wix: free, but with Wix branding
Wix has a free plan with no credit card required. Wix's own guide explains that free sites use a non-customizable address (siteprefix.wixsite.com/siteaddress), show Wix branding and sometimes ads, and include up to 500 MB of storage and 1 GB of bandwidth. A custom domain comes with a paid plan; the same guide lists the Light plan at $17 a month billed yearly ($24 monthly), but Wix shows prices in local currency, so check the Wix plans page from where you are. Wix is the better pick if you will need many pages and apps later; for a single page it is more than you need.
8. Linktree: the standard link-in-bio page
If you use Carrd mainly as a link-in-bio page, Linktree does that job with less setup. Its pricing page lists a free plan with unlimited basic links and email and phone sign-ups. Removing Linktree branding, custom designs and selling with 0% fees come with the Pro plan, which has a 7-day free trial; prices are shown in local currency.
9. Lnk.Bio: free link-in-bio with a one-time upgrade
Lnk.Bio is an independent link-in-bio tool founded in 2016. Its free plan includes unlimited links, music and video embeds, basic statistics, a QR code and 3 pages. The Unique plan is a one-time payment of $24.99 (no subscription) that removes the Lnk.Bio logo and adds a contact form, a newsletter and a shop. A custom domain is an add-on at $39.99 a year, or included in the Ultra plan at $89.99 a year. If you dislike subscriptions, this is the cheapest way to an unbranded page.
10. Beacons: link in bio with a free store
Beacons' plans page lists a free plan with a customizable link in bio, a media kit, unlimited digital products and 50 email sends a month, with a 9% seller fee on sales. The Creator plan ($10 a month, or $100 a year) adds a custom domain, and Creator Plus ($30 a month) drops the seller fee to 0%. Choose it if you want to sell a template, guide or course from the same page.
11. Taplink: mobile link pages with contact buttons
Taplink builds mobile pages for Instagram and TikTok bios where visitors can contact you or pay for goods and services. Its pricing FAQ says the free version lets you create a simple page with a few links, some text and a theme. Paid plans are billed for at least three months, with discounts when you pay for six or twelve months. Prices are not listed on the public page.
12. Jotform Apps: when the page is really a form
Jotform Apps turns forms, links, images and videos into an app-like page that people can add to their phone's home screen. Jotform says the app builder is included in every plan, including the free Starter plan. On the Jotform pricing page, Starter covers 5 active forms, 100 submissions and 10,000 form views a month and 100 MB of uploads, with Jotform branding; Bronze costs $39 a month. It replaces Carrd best when your page exists to collect bookings, orders or applications.
Carrd Alternatives That Closed or No Longer Fit
The 2025 version of this article included tools that no longer belong on a free Carrd alternatives list:
- Hypage: hypage.io now shows a parked-domain page, so the product is gone.
- Smart.bio by Tailwind: Tailwind's Smart.bio page now redirects to its homepage and smart.bio returns an error. Tailwind's help centre still describes Smart.bio as a free link page for Instagram Business accounts that schedule with Tailwind, so it is a feature, not a Carrd replacement.
- Square Online: an online store builder rather than a one-page site. Square Free has no monthly fee, but online card payments cost 3.3% + 30¢ on the free plan in the US. Use it only if you sell physical products.
- Bento: bento.me now redirects to Linktree. According to AlternativeTo, Linktree, which owned Bento, closed it on 13 February 2026.
Which Free Carrd Alternative Should You Choose?
- You need your own domain and want to pay nothing: Google Sites, or systeme.io if the page has to collect emails.
- You need a landing page that looks designed: Tilda or Framer, on their free addresses until you have traction.
- You want several pages, not one: Tilda (50 pages free) or Wix.
- You only need a link-in-bio page: Linktree or Lnk.Bio; Beacons if you sell digital products.
- Your page is mostly a form: Jotform Apps.
- You just want Carrd with your domain: stay on Carrd and pay $19 a year for Pro Standard; few tools beat that price.

How Founders Use a Free One-Page Site
A one-page site is usually a founder's first experiment: one promise, one call to action, one way to measure interest. Write the page around a single problem, send traffic to it and count signups before you build anything; our MVP user acquisition SOP shows how to find the first users. Then test the page with a free landing page analyzer, work through these tips to optimize your landing page, and read why AI-generated landing pages fail before you let a tool write your copy. A link-in-bio page works best as part of a personal brand that sends people somewhere useful.
Free tools can cover much of an early startup's stack. We have also checked free Canva Pro alternatives for the visuals on your page, free Hootsuite alternatives and open-source Buffer alternatives to share it, and open-source Zapier alternatives to send new signups to your other tools.
