How to get the most out of Hong Kong startup events

  1. Plan for November. FinTech Week, the Cyberport forum, AVCJ and Entrepreneur Day fall within three weeks; one trip covers them all.
  2. Use the side events. Many of the best meetings at FinTech Week happen at free satellite events listed on the StartmeupHK calendar.
  3. Pitch. The Cyberport forum's Live Pitch Lab, Global Fast Track, PolyU's competition and JUMPSTARTER put founders in front of investors; see more startup competitions.
  4. Follow your sector. Fintech and Web3 founders get the most from Hong Kong; see our fintech startup events and Web3 startup events lists for the rest of the world.
  5. Ask about incubation. A place in Cyberport or Science Park brings money and helps an entrepreneur visa application.
