Next to the list you see the current Google results with SEO metrics for each ranking page, so you can tell at a glance whether small sites make it to the top 10. Mangools says KWFinder draws on 2.5 billion related keywords and about 100 million competitor keywords checked each month, in about 65,000 locations from countries down to cities.
- You cannot buy KWFinder alone. The Mangools FAQ says its tools are not sold separately, because the KD score uses data from SERPChecker. Every plan includes KWFinder, SERPChecker, SERPWatcher, LinkMiner, SiteProfiler and AI Search Watcher PRO, plus API and MCP access.
- Free plan: a free account with no credit card gives 5 lookups per 24 hours, with 15 related and 5 competitor keywords per lookup. Enough to test it on your own niche.
- Basic, €37.70 a month billed yearly (€452.40 a year): 100 keyword lookups and 100 SERP lookups per 24 hours, 200 keyword suggestions per search, 200 tracked keywords updated weekly, 100,000 backlink rows a month and no extra seats.
- Premium (€52.70) and Agency (€97.70), billed yearly: 500 or 1,200 lookups a day, unlimited suggestions, 700 or 1,500 tracked keywords (weekly on Premium, daily on Agency) and 3 or 5 extra seats.
- Refunds and billing: the Mangools pricing page shows Basic at €452.40 a year against a crossed-out €732.00 and says yearly billing saves about 35%. Mangools gives a full refund within 48 hours of payment.
- The catch: Mangools says its search volumes usually lag about one month behind, there is no technical site audit, and SERPWatcher updates rankings weekly on Basic and Premium.
Best for: founders and content writers choosing what to write about, local businesses that need city-level keyword data, and anyone who wants a quick answer to "can my site rank for this?" before spending a day on an article.

SE Ranking: keyword research inside a full SEO platform
SE Ranking's Keyword Tool shows search volume, keyword difficulty, CPC and search intent for each keyword in 188 country databases, and sorts suggestions into similar, related, question-based and low-volume (long-tail) keywords. It also shows who ranks now, how the top results changed month by month back to February 2020, and which sites run ads on the keyword. You can check hundreds of keywords at once in bulk and send them to the rank tracker or the content editor. SE Ranking says its database holds 5.5 billion keywords.

- Rank tracking: the rank tracker checks the top 100 results daily on Google, Bing, Yahoo and YouTube, on desktop and mobile, and can track mentions in AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Gemini. Core includes 25 AI prompts a day.
- Site audit: the website audit runs 115+ checks, can render JavaScript and can crawl on a schedule.

Which One Should a Startup Choose?
Start with the job you have this quarter. Keyword research decides what you publish; rank tracking and audits only pay off once there are pages to track and fix.

What Changed Since the Old Version of This Comparison

- SE Ranking changed its plans. The entry plan is now Core, with unlimited keyword research, MCP access and AI search tracking included; the trial is 14 days without a card.
- KWFinder does competitor research. The old claim that it lacks competitor analysis is out of date: you can search by domain or URL to see a competitor's keywords.
- KWFinder is a bundle, not a single tool. Mangools sells only the full suite, which now includes AI Search Watcher PRO and API and MCP access.
