How to choose the right event
- Decide what you need this year. Money: the EU prize, Cartier and FFX. Customers: WEConnect. Network and hiring: Perspektywy and the Women in Tech summits.
- Apply early. FFX, Cartier and the EU prize all select participants; the EU prize closes on 1 December 2026.
- Combine with a big general event. Web Summit and VivaTech have women-founder programmes and far more investors than most specialised events.
- Use online events to test. The WomenTech conference and GatherVerse are online, so you can meet a global network before you travel.
- Follow up. Write to the people you meet within 48 hours; the event is only the start. See more startup competitions.
