SE Ranking vs AccuRanker (2027): All-in-One SEO Platform or Dedicated Rank Tracker? Prices, Trials and AI Visibility Compared

SE Ranking vs AccuRanker: All-in-One SEO Platform or Dedicated Rank Tracker?

SE Ranking and AccuRanker are often compared because both are known for accurate daily rank tracking, but they are different kinds of tools. SE Ranking is an all-in-one SEO platform: rank tracking plus keyword and backlink research, site audits, local SEO, content tools and AI search tracking in one plan. AccuRanker is a dedicated rank tracker built for agencies and enterprises that track thousands of keywords, with a separate product, AccuLLM, for visibility in AI answers. We checked both tools' official pricing and feature pages in October 2026: plans, prices, trials, tracking frequency and AI visibility features. If you are also weighing Moz, our Moz vs SE Ranking comparison covers both tools' current prices and free tools.
Quick answer: for a startup or small business, SE Ranking is the better choice: at €109 a month it tracks the same 2,000 keywords a day as AccuRanker's €249 plan, and it adds research, audits, local SEO and 25 AI prompts a day, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card. Choose AccuRanker when rank tracking is your core job, for example an agency reporting on tens of thousands of keywords that needs on-demand refreshes, deep tagging and fast loading at scale.

SE Ranking vs AccuRanker: Feature by Feature

Rank tracking frequency and accuracy

Both update rankings daily. AccuRanker's advantage is the on-demand refresh, every two hours for a whole domain, which matters when you are launching pages or reacting to a Google update. Its free Google Grump rating shows how turbulent Google rankings are on a given day. SE Ranking covers more search engines, including Bing, Yahoo and YouTube, and lets you view each engine and location separately. For a startup tracking a few hundred keywords, daily data from either tool is enough.

Keyword research and competitor analysis

SE Ranking includes unlimited keyword, competitor and backlink research on Core, so it can replace a separate keyword tool. AccuRanker's keyword database shows which keywords any domain ranks for, so you can find gaps and decide what to track, but it is built to feed the rank tracker rather than to replace a full research suite. If research is your main need, also see our Keyword Tool vs Keyword Planner comparison and Similarweb vs Keyword Planner.

Site audits, backlinks and local SEO

Here only SE Ranking competes. Core audits 250,000 pages a month, includes a backlink checker and covers local SEO with 3 locations, a local and map rank tracker for 1,500 keywords and listings in more than 100 directories. AccuRanker does not offer site audits, backlink research or listing management, so AccuRanker users usually pair it with another SEO suite; our Ahrefs alternatives list covers the options.

AI search visibility

Both tools now track how often AI answers mention and cite your brand. SE Ranking Core includes 25 prompts a day, and SE Ranking says it tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Perplexity and Gemini; the AI Search add-on raises the limit to 200 prompts or more. AccuRanker sells AccuLLM as a separate subscription covering ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and AI Mode, with a 1 to 100 sentiment score, cited sources and competitor benchmarks. LLM Lite costs €199 a month ($229) for 100 prompts and 1 brand, and LLM Pro €499 ($579) for 300 prompts and 5 brands, both with unlimited seats.

Reporting, integrations and API

SE Ranking Core includes Looker Studio (Data Studio), Matomo, Google Analytics and Search Console integrations, a report builder and 25,000 API credits with MCP access; the Agency Pack adds white-label reports. AccuRanker includes Search Console and Analytics on Professional, Looker Studio and an unlimited read API on Expert, and BigQuery, a write API and raw SERP HTML on Enterprise. Both connect to AI assistants through MCP.

Free tools

SE Ranking lets you check up to 5 keywords a day for free on its rank tracker page, without a paid plan. AccuRanker offers a free SERP checker with up to five searches a day on mobile or desktop. For more no-cost options, see our free rank trackers guide and free Ahrefs alternatives.

What Changed Since the Old Version of This Comparison

  • Old prices removed: The 2026 version of this article quoted "$31.20/month" for SE Ranking and "$129/month" for AccuRanker from third-party blogs. Neither matches the official pricing pages today: SE Ranking Core is €109 a month (€87.20 yearly) and AccuRanker Professional €249 (€224 yearly).
  • AccuRanker is a rank tracker, not a keyword research tool: its updates are daily with on-demand refreshes, not "multiple times per day" for every keyword as the old text said.
  • New AI visibility tools: SE Ranking now includes AI prompt tracking in every plan, and AccuRanker launched AccuLLM as a separate product, plus an MCP connection for AI assistants.
  • No AccuRanker free trial listed: its pricing page offers buy and demo buttons instead, with a 14-day refund on the first purchase.

Which One Should You Choose?

  • You are a startup or small business with one site: SE Ranking Core. You get rank tracking, research, audits and local SEO for less than half of AccuRanker's entry price.
  • You want to test before paying: SE Ranking, because it has a 14-day free trial without a credit card. AccuRanker has no listed trial, only a 14-day refund.
  • You are a local business: SE Ranking, because local and map rank tracking and listings are included.
  • You run an agency tracking 10,000+ keywords: AccuRanker Expert, for dynamic tagging, Tag Cloud, its CTR and search volume models and an unlimited read API, or SE Ranking Growth with the Agency Pack if you also want white-label reports and audits.
  • You need fresh rankings during launches or algorithm updates: AccuRanker, thanks to its on-demand refresh every two hours.
  • You care most about AI answers: SE Ranking includes 25 prompts a day in its entry plan; AccuLLM is deeper on sentiment and citations but costs from €199 a month on top.

How Founders Use SE Ranking and AccuRanker

Rank tracking only helps if you act on it. Track a short list of keywords that match what customers search for before they buy, check them weekly, and update the pages that slip. Our guide to rank trackers compares more tools, and our local SEO tools for small businesses help if you sell in one city. Before you track anything, make sure people search for the problem you solve: validate your startup idea first.
A tracker tells you where you rank; it does not write the pages that rank. If publishing is your bottleneck, the F/MS AI SEO Tool turns your keywords into articles built to rank on Google and to be cited by ChatGPT and Perplexity, with human editors checking the result. Then track those pages in SE Ranking or AccuRanker and in the AI answers that matter to your customers.
