November is the Czech Republic's busiest startup month: two weeks of AI Days across the country, JIC's investor speed dating in Brno and a free pitch night in Plzeň all fall within it. In 2027, the big dates are in May (Machine Learning Prague, BTC Prague, FinTech Roadmap and WebExpo) and October (Czech Startup Week).
This guide lists startup, tech, investor and women-founder events in the Czech Republic from November 2026 to the end of 2027, in Prague, Brno, Ostrava and Plzeň. We checked every date on the organiser's own website. Where a date isn't published yet, we say so, and we mark each event as Confirmed (date on the official site), Announced (date from a reliable second source) or Expected (based on past editions only).

Marketing Festival, Brno: 20–21 April 2027
One of Central Europe's best-known marketing conferences, with speakers such as Mark Ritson and Rory Sutherland in past years. It is also in our marketing tech events list.
Machine Learning Prague: 3–5 May 2027
The main applied machine learning conference in Central and Eastern Europe. The cheapest tier was nearly sold out when we checked, so book early.
BTC Prague: 6–8 May 2027
Europe's largest bitcoin event. It has no startup pitch programme, but the expo pass is a cheap way in. See our Web3 and blockchain events list.
FinTech Roadmap and WebExpo, Prague: 26–28 May 2027
FinTech Roadmap, run by the Czech Fintech Association and the Czech Wealthtech Association, has a funding and business growth track. WebExpo draws more than 1,600 people for practical product and marketing talks. More in our fintech events list.
MSV Engineering Fair, Brno: 14–17 September 2027
A big industrial fair rather than a startup event; the 2027 startup programme is not published yet.
Czech Startup Week, Prague: 18–22 October 2027
Started by CzechInvest. The 2026 week included a Technology Incubation and ESA BIC demo day, the Engaged Investments conference, pitch evenings and a hackathon.

- Global Entrepreneurship Week runs worldwide on 16–22 November 2026, but we found no Czech host or programme. genglobal.org
- Forbes Women's Summit: last held on 22 May 2026 at Výstaviště Praha; the 2027 date is not out.
- DevConf.CZ, Brno: the free developer conference was last held on 18–19 June 2026, and its site says the next edition is in 2027. devconf.info
- Engaged Investments (DEPO Ventures), Prague: last held on 21–22 October 2026, during Czech Startup Week.
- Fintech Week CEE, Prague: last held on 8–15 May 2026.
- DevFest.cz, Prague: last held on 30 October 2026.

Funding and support to know before you go
- CzechBusiness: CzechInvest and CzechTrade are merging into one state agency, CzechBusiness, which started on 1 August 2026 and should be fully running from 1 January 2027. businessinfo.cz
- Fast track for startup hires: the Key and Scientific Personnel Programme for startups aims to process employee cards, blue cards and business visas for executives in about 30 days instead of the usual 60–90. czechstartups.gov.cz
- Employee stock options: since 1 January 2026, qualifying ESOP shares are taxed only when they are sold, with no social or health insurance on the gain. lupa.cz
- Company set-up: a Czech limited company (s.r.o.) can be founded with registered capital of CZK 1.
- Technology Incubation: CzechInvest's incubation programme offered up to CZK 5 million over 18 or 24 months; its seventh call closed in January 2026, and no newer call is out yet. businessinfo.cz

How to get the most out of Czech startup events
- Pick November or May. November has the AI Days and JIC's speed dating; late May has Machine Learning Prague, BTC Prague, FinTech Roadmap and WebExpo within four weeks.
- Use the free events. Most AI Days events, JIC's speed dating, BoostUp Night and the Ostrava women's evening cost nothing.
- Go to Brno, not only Prague. JIC, Marketing Festival and DevConf.CZ make Brno the second startup city.
- Check the language. ML Prague and WebExpo run in English; regional meetings such as the Ostrava evening are in Czech.
