Wincher vs Keyworddit: Track Your Google Rankings or Find the Words Your Customers Use on Reddit?
Wincher and Keyworddit are often compared, but they do different jobs. Keyworddit is a free web tool that pulls keywords out of the comments in one subreddit, so you learn how a community describes its problems, with a US search volume for each phrase. Wincher is a paid SEO platform from Stockholm built around a daily Google rank tracker, with keyword research, on-page checks and reports added on top. One helps you decide what to write; the other tells you whether what you wrote ranks. We checked both tools on their official pages in October 2026: plans and prices as Wincher's pricing page shows them by default, free trials, data sources and limits.
Quick answer: use Keyworddit first if you are still finding your niche: it is free, needs no account and shows the phrases real people use, but only with US volumes and no rank tracking. Use Wincher once you publish pages and need to see where they rank on Google every day: Basic costs €49 a month on monthly billing for 500 keywords, after a 7-day free trial without a credit card. Most startups end up using both: Keyworddit for ideas, Wincher for tracking.

The Two Tools in Detail
Keyworddit: Free Keywords From One Subreddit
Keyworddit is a free Reddit keyword research tool. You start typing the name of a subreddit, pick it from the auto-generated list and click "Get Keywords". The tool extracts keywords from that subreddit's comments and lists each one with its average monthly search volume in the US and a Context link, which opens a Google search for the phrase on that subreddit so you can see how people use it. You can export the list as a CSV file. There is no sign-up and no paid plan.
- Who runs it: keyworddit.com redirects to a page on the site of HigherVisibility, a digital marketing agency based in Memphis, Tennessee, that has worked since 2009. The tool is free; the page around it advertises the agency's services.
- Where the numbers come from: the page says volumes come from Grepwords, a third-party keyword database, and invites you to run the exported list through any other volume tool. It does not say how often the data is refreshed.
- Which subreddits work: only those in its suggestion list. A subreddit with fewer than 10,000 subscribers is too small, and busy subreddits with many comments give more keywords.
- What you do not get: no keyword difficulty, CPC, trends or countries other than the US, and no rank tracking.
In the test for our Keywords Everywhere vs Keyworddit comparison (28 October 2026), r/smallbusiness returned 292 keywords, from tax phrases with 22,200 US searches a month down to long phrases with 10. Expect to filter such a list by hand, and check first that your community appears in the suggestion list. Best for: founders who want to learn the vocabulary and the repeated questions of a niche community for free, before writing a page.
Wincher: Daily Google Rank Tracking for Small Teams
Wincher started as a rank tracker and now calls itself a search visibility platform. Its rank tracker updates your Google positions once a day on every plan, on desktop and mobile, and shows position history, competitors, the page that ranks for each keyword, SERP features and estimated traffic. You can import ranking history from your previous tool, and Wincher keeps your data for 24 months. It connects to Google Search Console, WordPress, Wix and Looker Studio. Wincher says more than 700,000 marketers and business owners use it; that is the company's own figure.
- Basic, €49 a month: from 500 keywords, up to 10 websites, 1 user and 5 tracked competitors per website. Rankings update daily; on-demand updates are not included.
- Standard, €89 a month: from 1,000 keywords, unlimited websites, multiple users, 10 competitors per website, on-demand updates, keyword gap, API, Looker Studio and white-label reports.
- Professional, €319 a month: from 5,000 keywords and 20 competitors per website. Plans scale up to 50,000 keywords; above that Wincher gives a custom quote.
- On every plan: a local rank tracker for Google Maps with weekly updates and 25 credits (€10 per 500 extra), an On-Page SEO checker, SERP Benchmark against the top 10, an AI Content Outliner and scheduled PDF reports.
- Trial and billing: a 7-day free trial without a credit card, a 7-day refund on the first purchase, cancel any time. There is no public free plan, but the On-Page SEO Checker and SERP Volatility tools are free. Prices are the monthly billing shown by default on Wincher's pricing page; yearly billing is also offered.
Wincher also has its own research tool. The Keyword Explorer gives keyword data for more than 150 countries, with search volume, keyword difficulty, CPC and search intent, unlimited daily lookups and 50, 200 or 500 related keywords per search depending on the plan. Its AI keyword suggestions read a URL you paste and propose keywords to track.
Best for: founders and small teams that publish regularly and want to see every day whether their pages move up or down on Google, at a low monthly price and without a long contract.

Wincher vs Keyworddit: Head to Head
Cost
Keyworddit costs nothing. Wincher starts at €49 a month on monthly billing for 500 keywords, and you can test it for 7 days without a card. If your budget is zero, start with Keyworddit and Wincher's free On-Page SEO Checker; our guide to free rank trackers lists more no-cost options for tracking.
Keyword data
Keyworddit shows one number per keyword: US monthly search volume from Grepwords. Wincher's Keyword Explorer adds difficulty, CPC, search intent and related keywords, for 150+ countries. If you sell outside the US, Keyworddit's volumes do not describe your market, so check the phrases you like in a tool with country data before you build pages around them.
Understanding your audience
This is where Keyworddit wins. Its keywords come from what people actually write in a community, so you find questions, complaints and product names that keyword databases often miss. Wincher's research starts from seed keywords or a URL, which is better for sizing a topic than for discovering how a niche talks. For another view of Reddit and autocomplete data, see Keyword Tool vs Keyworddit.
Tracking results
Keyworddit stops at the list. Wincher tracks the keywords you choose every day, compares you with competitors, alerts you to changes and sends scheduled reports, which is what tells you whether your content work pays off.
What Changed Since the Previous Version
- Prices are now on the page. The old article called Wincher "budget-friendly" without a price. Today Wincher Basic costs €49 a month on monthly billing for 500 keywords, Standard €89 and Professional €319.
- Wincher grew beyond tracking: it now has a Keyword Explorer for 150+ countries, AI keyword suggestions, an AI Content Outliner and a local rank tracker.
- Keyworddit moved: keyworddit.com now redirects to the HigherVisibility website. It is still free and the page is live. It reads a subreddit's comments, not individual threads as the old text said.
- Removed: a statistic attributed to a third-party article, a user quote from a review site, links to third-party blog posts and a generic "common SEO mistakes" list.
Which One Should You Choose?
- You are still validating a niche: Keyworddit. Run the two or three subreddits where your customers talk and read the Context links; it costs nothing.
- You publish pages and need to know if they rank: Wincher Basic, from €49 a month for 500 keywords with daily updates, after the 7-day free trial.
- You sell outside the US: Wincher's Keyword Explorer, with data for 150+ countries. Keyworddit only shows US volumes.
- Your subreddit is small or not in the list: Keyworddit will not help; try the free Reddit tools in our Keywords Everywhere and Keyworddit guide.
- You need both ideas and tracking: use Keyworddit for ideas and Wincher for tracking, as in the workflow below.
- You need a full research tool first: read KWFinder vs Wincher and Wincher vs Keywords Everywhere.
