Billed as the place where Central Texas health tech meets capital. Mark Cuban and Jonathan Swerdlin of Function Health speak, with investors from Oak HC/FT, HealthQuest, Nina Capital and Lightspeed. Austin Women in Technology: 17 November and 15 December 2026
Austin Women in Technology is the city's main women-in-tech network and runs an event most months, hosted at local tech companies.
Global Entrepreneurship Week runs 16–22 November worldwide; we found no Austin-specific event yet.
FTT Fintech Festival North America: 8–9 December 2026
The only fintech conference we found in Austin this season. The start-up pass is for companies that have raised less than $1 million in seed money. More in our fintech startup events.

Texas Women's Leadership Conference: 3 February 2027
Hosted by First Lady Cecilia Abbott, with the Governor's Commission for Women. The 2027 speakers have not been named yet.
Generative AI Summit Austin: 24 February 2027
The AI Accelerator Institute's summit is technical and hands-on, without a big expo hall.
SXSW EDU: 13–16 March 2027
Author Mac Barnett gives a keynote. For edtech founders this is the week to meet school buyers; see our edtech startup events.
SXSW: 15–21 March 2027
The Austin Convention Center is still being rebuilt, so SXSW 2027 again uses pop-up venues downtown. Timnit Gebru of DAIR gives a keynote; Allison Ellsworth of Poppi and Amy Webb also speak. Austin residents can ask about the 512 Club local discounts.
SXSW Pitch: 16–17 March 2027
The 19th SXSW Pitch is judged by VCs, angels and media. Note that the FAQ gives "Friday, November 11th" as the deadline, but the application page says 13 November (the Friday), so apply before 11 November to be safe. More pitch competitions.

Founderpath, which lends to software companies against their revenue, hosts this evening; a good fit if you'd rather not sell equity.
