This guide lists startup, tech, investor and women-founder events in São Paulo, from November 2026 to the end of 2027. We checked every date on the organiser's own website. We mark each event as Confirmed (date on the official site), Announced (date from a reliable second source) or Expected (based on past editions only). GITEX AI LATAM: 16–17 March 2027
The first Latin American edition of Dubai's GITEX, run by KAOUN International, the overseas arm of the Dubai World Trade Centre. Startups apply to its startup programme; speakers include founders of Loft, NotCo and Nuvemshop.
São Paulo Innovation Week and Bett Brasil: 4–7 May 2027
Run by Estadão. The second edition grows to 40 stages, with new Hard Tech and Robotics and Finance and Banking stages; about 400 startups took part in 2026. Agile Trends (doity.com.br) runs on the same days at the Frei Caneca convention centre.

Mãe Summit: 15 May 2027
Run by B2Mamy, the network for mother entrepreneurs, for only 500 people, with talks, a kids' area and a happy hour. See our female entrepreneurship events.
VTEX Day: 31 May–3 June 2027
VTEX's conference grows to four days at two venues; the second is not announced yet. It is fully in person, with no livestream. Gartner's Data and Analytics Summit follows on 2–3 June at Distrito Anhembi (gartner.com). See our e-commerce events.

SP2B: 9–14 August 2027
São Paulo Beyond Business mixes business talks, culture and music in Ibirapuera Park. Its site says 9–14 August; Billboard Brasil reported 9–15 August, so check the last day. In 2026, Expert XP (July), Febraban Tech (August) and São Paulo Tech Week (September) also filled the season; their 2027 dates are not out yet.
Futurecom: 5–7 October 2027
Run by Informa Markets. The place to meet telecom operators and infrastructure buyers.

- Marco Legal das Startups: under Complementary Law 182/2021, a company counts as a startup with gross revenue up to R$ 16 million in the previous year and up to 10 years since its CNPJ registration; angel investors are not treated as partners. camara.leg.br
- Inova Simples: a simplified regime for innovation companies, with online registration on gov.br. gov.br
- FAPESP PIPE: São Paulo state research grants for small companies; Phase 1, Phase 2 and PIPE Invest proposals are accepted all year, and a current call offers up to R$ 500,000 per project. fapesp.br
- Digital nomad visa: Brazil's visa for remote workers asks for at least US$1,500 a month or US$18,000 in a Brazilian bank account, for one year, renewable; check the current terms with the immigration authorities. mattosfilho.com.br
How to get the most out of São Paulo startup events
- Learn the venues. São Paulo Expo, Distrito Anhembi and Expo Center Norte are far apart; allow an hour between them at rush hour.
- Pick one May week. São Paulo Innovation Week, Bett Brasil, Mãe Summit and VTEX Day all fall between 4 May and 3 June 2027.
- Pitch to angels. GVAngels forums and the Founder Institute demo day are the most direct way to meet early-stage investors.
- Bring Portuguese. Most sessions and networking are in Portuguese; a Portuguese pitch deck helps.
- Register as a startup. The Marco Legal and Inova Simples make it easier to set up and take angel money.
