Hamburg's startup scene is busiest from 11 November to 10 December 2026: Female Entrepreneurship Week, the Harbour Founder Summit, AI.SUMMIT and at least six pitch nights. In 2027, the Nordic Startup Challenge, OMR Festival in May and the Hamburg Innovation Summit in June are the big dates.
This guide lists startup, tech, investor and women-founder events in Hamburg, from November 2026 to the end of 2027. We checked every date on the organiser's website or on the city's own Startup City Hamburg calendar. The Chamber of Commerce and the Altona district give their first startup award, for firms under five years old.

Fish & Founders: 1 December 2026

Female Maker Challenge, SANTA ROAST and iF Sprint: 8–13 December 2026
Run by Fab City Hamburg. Finalists show their products at a pop-up market, then pitch to a jury for prizes and consulting packages.
Startup Port and Startup City's year-end event: founders get honest feedback on a live problem, and a "Wall of Ideas" helps you find a co-founder.
Impossible Founders' weekend ends in a jury pitch with a €500 prize. No founding experience is needed. Also on 15 December: the MEDKAP Investors Pitchevent, where four healthtech startups pitch to investors (listed by the Chamber of Commerce; venue not published). See our deep tech events.

DeepTech Connect: 25 February 2027
A keynote, a pitch contest with an award and time with investors at the science startup centre in Bahrenfeld. Earlier, on 11–15 January, Kühne Logistics University runs a free Winter School in Entrepreneurship for students (apply by 30 November).
Nordic Startup Challenge: 22–24 March 2027
Ten startups from 14 countries pitch, take workshops and visit Hamburg companies. See our fintech events. Also in March: the Social Entrepreneurship Forum on 2 March at Leuphana University in Lüneburg, and the Future Leader Summit on 16–17 April in Hamburg (date from Startup City; venue not announced).
OMR Festival: 3–5 May 2027

Summer and autumn 2027
Hamburg Innovation Summit: 24 June 2027
Hamburg's largest innovation event: in 2026 it had more than 180 speakers and 2,200 attendees. The Startup Stage has pitches, and founder centres show their startups in the expo.
Reeperbahn Festival: 15–19 September 2027
The music and creative industries meet here. Its NEXT Conference was cancelled in 2026 and its future is uncertain.

- Start with the free events. The Music WorX pitch, build fridays, Hardware Afterwork and Startup City's workshops cost nothing.
- Pitch for practice. Pitch Night, SANTA ROAST and the Startup Slam give early founders a stage and honest feedback.
- Mind the deadlines. The Nordic Startup Challenge closes on 29 November 2026 and the KLU Winter School on 30 November.
- Check the language. Many Hamburg events are in German; the Startup Slam, Global Innovators Circle and OMR's big stages work in English.
