Quantum founders need three things from an event: buyers who are ready to test real use cases, investors who understand long hardware timelines, and the research labs and suppliers they build on. These are the ten best quantum computing events of 2027 for startups, from Munich, Paris, London, Copenhagen and the Netherlands to San Francisco, Boston, Florida and Quebec.
We picked events with a startup pitch, a startup zone, enterprise buyers or a strong quantum ecosystem, with Europe first. We checked every date on the organiser's own website and mark each one as Confirmed (date on the official site), Announced (reliable second source only) or Expected (based on past editions only). All ten below are Confirmed for 2027.

Top 10 Quantum Computing Startup Events of 2027 at a Glance
The 10 best quantum computing events of 2027
1. SPIE Photonics West with Quantum West: 30 January – 4 February 2027, San Francisco
Photonics West is the world's largest optics and photonics event, and its Quantum West programme shows photonics as an enabling technology for quantum. If you build lasers, detectors, photonic chips or other parts of the quantum stack, this is where suppliers and buyers meet. The SPIE Global Business Forum runs on 1 February 2027. See our list of startup events in San Francisco.
2. Qubits: 8–9 February 2027, Boca Raton
Qubits is D-Wave's own conference, so it is not a neutral startup event. It is useful if you build applications, because companies present how they use quantum optimisation in production today. If you can't travel, you can follow the first day online.
3. Quantum Days: 17–19 February 2027, Sherbrooke
Quantum Days is Canada's national quantum conference, run by Deep Tech Canada with Institut quantique as host partner. It has an exhibitors and startups programme and gathers the country's quantum hubs in one place, which helps if you want Canadian partners or customers.
4. IQT Q+AI Munich: 26–28 April 2027, Munich
Inside Quantum Technology runs industry conferences around the world, and its Munich event focuses on where quantum computing and AI meet. The dates are on the IQT site, with a dedicated website still to come. See our list of startup events in Munich.
5. Quantum Meets: 18–21 May 2027, Netherlands
Quantum Meets is run by Quantum Delta NL, the Dutch national quantum programme. The 2026 edition took visitors on ecosystem tours in Amsterdam and Eindhoven, a quick way to meet the Netherlands' quantum startups, labs and investors in a few days. See our guide to startup events in the Netherlands.
6. Quantum.Tech World: 25–26 May 2027, Boston
Quantum.Tech World is built around enterprise buyers, and in 2027 it is fully co-located with Compute.Tech for the first time. Its Start-Up Zone is priced for very young companies, which makes it one of the cheapest ways on this list to put a quantum product in front of corporate teams. See our list of startup events in Boston.
7. Optica Quantum 2.0: 7–10 June 2027, Copenhagen
Quantum 2.0 is Optica's quantum meeting, and its topics include quantum ecosystems such as financing and startups. The free exhibits pass makes it an easy way to meet hardware and photonics suppliers. Optica's Quantum Executive Forum runs alongside it. See our guide to startup events in Denmark.
8. France Quantum: 15 June 2027, Paris
France Quantum, now in its sixth edition, brings the French quantum ecosystem to Station F for one day of talks, masterclasses and a demo zone. Startups can join with a package that includes a speaking slot and a demo booth. See our list of startup events in Paris.
9. Commercialising Quantum Global: 22–23 June 2027, London
Economist Impact's quantum conference is about business, not physics: enterprise end users, investors and policymakers discuss where quantum creates value. The organiser expects more than 1,100 attendees from 60+ countries. See our list of startup events in London.
10. World of Quantum: 22–25 June 2027, Munich
World of Quantum is a big quantum trade floor, held alongside LASER World of PHOTONICS. Its programme includes Founders Fights, where startups pitch to customers and investors, a 24-hour Qiskit Hackathon and an Innovation Award; the 2027 calls are not published yet.
