Insurtech founders sell to a small, cautious group of buyers: insurers, reinsurers, brokers and MGAs. Those buyers meet at a handful of conferences each year, and the best ones give startups a pitch stage or a cheaper pass. These are the ten best insurtech events of 2027 for startups, from London and Barcelona to New York, Doha, Singapore, Sydney and Las Vegas.
We picked events with a startup pass, a startup zone, a pitch competition or an accelerator demo day, with Europe first. We checked every date on the organiser's own website and mark each one as Confirmed (date on the official site), Announced (reliable second source only) or Expected (based on past editions only). Nine of the ten below are Confirmed for 2027.

The 10 best insurtech events of 2027
1. ITC London: 25–26 January 2027, London
ITC London is small and senior: you attend by invitation or after a vetted application. Its Startup Spotlight puts early-stage insurtechs on stage to present to that room, which makes it one of the few places where a young company pitches straight to insurance decision-makers. See our list of startup events in London.
2. InsurtechLIVE27: 18 February 2027, Sydney
Insurtech Australia calls InsurtechLIVE its flagship summit. The 2027 agenda already lists a founder keynote by Luke Anear of Mitti (formerly SafetyCulture), a keynote by Federato's Will Ross, and sessions where a founder and an insurer explain how their partnership worked. Tickets are limited and registration closes when they sell out.
3. Insurtech Insights Europe: 3–4 March 2027, London
Insurtech Insights Europe bills itself as Europe's largest insurtech conference, with four stages, a Startup Alley and a 1:1 meetings platform. The Start-up Pass costs about a third of the General Pass, and the organiser may ask you to prove your age and funding.
4. InsurTech Spring Conference: 5–6 April 2027, New York
InsurTech NY's eighth annual spring conference has two tracks, P&C and Life & Health, and about 30% of attendees come from carriers and brokers. The top ten startups from a pool of 150+ applicants pitch in front of investors. See our list of startup events in New York.
5. MENA Insurtech Summit: 9–10 May 2027, Doha
The fifth MENA Insurtech Summit widens its scope to insurance, finance, AI and digital health, and it connects regional insurance incumbents with insurtech startups through competitions and an accelerator. The exact dates come from the organiser's ticket page; the main site still says spring 2027, so we list it as Announced.
6. Insurtech Insights USA: 9–10 June 2027, New York
The US twin of the London show has the same Startup Alley and the same cheap Start-up Pass. If you are choosing between the two, go where your first ten customers are.
7. ITC Europe: 16–17 June 2027, Barcelona
ITC Europe is InsureTech Connect's European meeting point. It has a Startup & Venture Innovation track and a Challenge Lab, and its matchmaking sets up meetings between insurers and startups. See our list of startup events in Barcelona.
8. Lloyd's Lab Demo Day: 23 June 2027, London
The Lloyd's Lab picks about ten teams from 150–200 global applications for each cohort, and each team works with 8–12 mentors from the Lloyd's market. Lloyd's says its alumni have generated $200M in Lloyd's premium. Cohort 19 follows with a Pitch Day on 8 September and a Demo Day on 8 December 2027.
9. ITC Asia: 29 June – 1 July 2027, Singapore
ITC Asia brings InsureTech Connect's format to Singapore, with an Insurtech Pitch Competition, awards and a track for startups. See our list of startup events in Singapore.

How to choose an insurtech event
- Start from your buyer. Specialty and London market insurers are at the Lloyd's Lab and ITC London, European carriers at Insurtech Insights Europe and ITC Europe, US carriers at ITC Vegas, Insurtech Insights USA and InsurTech NY, and Asian and Gulf insurers at ITC Asia and the MENA Insurtech Summit.
- Use the startup passes. Insurtech Insights sells a Start-up Pass for insurtechs under 5 years old with less than $10m raised (£649 in London, $599 in New York), and ITC Vegas has a startup ticket.
- Pitch where insurers sit in the audience. ITC London's Startup Spotlight, the InsurTech NY pitch final, ITC Asia's pitch competition and ITC Vegas' Startup Pitch Competition all put you in front of buyers and investors.
- Apply early for the Lloyd's Lab. Cohort 18 takes applications from 9 December 2026 to 17 January 2027, and only about ten teams get in.
- Book meetings before you travel. Insurtech Insights runs a 1:1 meetings platform and ITC Europe runs matchmaking; insurers fill their calendars weeks ahead.
