Robotics founders need three rooms: the one with the researchers, the one with the buyers and the one with the investors. These are the ten best robotics events of 2027 for startups, from Birmingham, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Hannover and Munich to Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston and Seoul.
We picked events with a startup programme, a pitch award or a large buyer crowd for robotics companies, and we say which is which. We checked every date on the organiser's own website and mark each one as Confirmed (date on the official site), Announced (reliable second source only) or Expected (based on past editions only). All ten below are Confirmed for 2027.

The 10 best robotics events of 2027
1. CES: 6–9 January 2027, Las Vegas
CES has a robotics topic track, and Eureka Park is its startup zone. For a consumer, home or service robot, it is the biggest stage for press coverage and retail buyers in one week. 2. European Robotics Forum: 2–4 March 2027, Birmingham
The ERF is the yearly meeting of Europe's robotics community, run by euRobotics with 1,500+ participants, 70+ sponsors and exhibitors and 65+ workshops. Founders can apply for the ERF Renaud Champion Entrepreneurship Award by 8 January 2027; the finalists pitch at the forum. Google DeepMind's Francesco Nori is listed as a keynote speaker.
3. XPONENTIAL Europe: 16–18 March 2027, Düsseldorf
XPONENTIAL Europe is Messe Düsseldorf's event for autonomous systems, robotics and AI, with drones at its core, run with partners including AUVSI. It has a start-up ecosystem area, and it is the European meeting point for founders building drones and autonomous vehicles.
4. LogiMAT: 16–18 March 2027, Stuttgart
LogiMAT is where warehouse operators shop for automation. If your robot picks, moves or sorts goods, this is the room with the buyers. It runs on the same days as XPONENTIAL Europe, so plan which one fits your product.
5. HANNOVER MESSE: 5–8 April 2027, Hannover
The Startup Area in Hall 11 connects young companies with industrial firms, research institutions and investors through pitches, master classes and networking. Hannover Messe also runs the ROBOTICS AWARD: submissions close on 1 November 2026, and the award is presented at the press preview on 17 February 2027. See our guide to startup events in Germany.
6. ProMat: 19–21 April 2027, Chicago
ProMat is the US counterpart to LogiMAT: a trade show for manufacturing and supply chain buyers, with a StartUp Pavilion for young companies. Go if you want to sell logistics robots in North America.
7. Automate: 10–13 May 2027, Las Vegas
Automate is A3's automation show, and registration is free. Its Startup Challenge lets early-stage robotics and automation companies pitch to expert judges for a chance to win $10,000; nominations are open. It is the cheapest way on this list to put a robot in front of North American buyers.
8. ICRA: 24–28 May 2027, Seoul
ICRA is the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society's flagship conference. It is not a startup event, but it is the place to recruit robotics PhDs and find research that is ready to become a product. See our deep tech events of 2027.
9. Robotics Summit & Expo: 2–3 June 2027, Boston
The Robotics Summit & Expo is a technical event for the people who build commercial robots; the 2027 date is on the organiser's save-the-date page. The 2026 edition had a Women in Robotics breakfast and a reception at MassRobotics with startup demos. See our list of startup events in Boston.
10. automatica: 22–25 June 2027, Munich
automatica is Europe's largest robotics fair and runs every two years, so 2027 is a show year. It is held with munich_i, a hightech summit run with TUM, and the Robothon developer challenge. In 2025 it had a Start-up Arena and a robotics startup challenge; the 2027 startup programme is not announced yet. See our list of startup events in Munich.

Why robotics events matter: the numbers
- Robotics startups raised $18.8 billion worldwide in the first half of 2026, more than the $15 billion they raised in all of 2025, according to Crunchbase News.
- The number of industrial robots in operation worldwide rose 9% to a record 5 million in 2025, according to the International Federation of Robotics.
- Only 14% of deep-tech startup founders in Europe are women, and their companies receive 11.4% of the sector's funding, according to an EIT study quoted by the European Commission's Women Invest platform.

How to choose a robotics event
- Pick by buyer. Warehouse robots belong at LogiMAT or ProMat, industrial robots at Hannover Messe, automatica or Automate, drones at XPONENTIAL Europe and consumer robots at CES.
- Use the pitch awards. The ERF Renaud Champion Entrepreneurship Award (apply by 8 January 2027), the Automate Startup Challenge and the Hannover ROBOTICS AWARD (submit by 1 November 2026) put you in front of juries and press.
- Go to ICRA or ERF to hire. Research conferences are where you meet the engineers and PhDs you will need.
- Watch the clashes. XPONENTIAL Europe and LogiMAT both run on 16–18 March 2027, and the ERF overlaps with 4YFN in Barcelona.
- Bring a demo. At trade fairs, buyers stop for robots that move; plan for transport, power and space on your stand.
