AccuRanker vs Mangools (2027): Dedicated Rank Tracker or Keyword Research Suite, Which One Does Your Startup Need?

AccuRanker vs Mangools: Dedicated Rank Tracker or Keyword Research Suite, Which One Does Your Startup Need?

AccuRanker and Mangools show up in the same "best SEO tools" lists, but they are built for different jobs. AccuRanker, from Aarhus in Denmark, is a dedicated rank tracker: it checks where thousands of your keywords rank on Google every day, and it now also tracks how your brand appears in ChatGPT and Google's AI answers. Mangools is a bundle of five SEO tools centred on keyword research: KWFinder to find keywords, SERPChecker to size up who ranks, SERPWatcher for simple rank tracking, LinkMiner for backlinks and SiteProfiler for domain metrics, plus an AI search tracker. We checked both tools' pricing pages, plan limits, free options and refund rules on the official websites in October 2026.
Quick answer: most startups should start with Mangools. It has a free plan, Mangools Basic costs €37.70 a month on yearly billing, and it answers the first SEO question: what should we write about? Choose AccuRanker when you already rank for many keywords and need daily data for 2,000 or more of them, unlimited users and refreshes on demand; its cheapest plan is €224 a month billed yearly and there is no free trial. They are not substitutes: AccuRanker is a tracker with some research, Mangools is a research suite with a basic tracker.

AccuRanker and Mangools in 2027: What Each One Does

AccuRanker: daily rank tracking for thousands of keywords

AccuRanker calls itself rank tracking and LLM visibility for agencies and enterprises. Its about page says it was born in Aarhus, Denmark, and launched in March 2013. The rank tracker updates rankings, SERP features and click-through rates every day, and you can refresh a single keyword or a whole domain every two hours when something needs checking, for example during a launch or a Google update. It shows pixel position (whether you sit above or below the fold), CTR by position and AI Share of Voice, and AccuRanker says it can track millions of keywords across hundreds of domains without slowing down.

  • Professional, €224 a month billed yearly for 2,000 keywords: daily updates, keyword research, search intent, tagging, advanced filtering, Google Search Console and Analytics, reporting and export. AccuRanker says it suits freelancers, consultants and small agencies.
  • Expert, €764 a month billed yearly for 10,000 keywords (up to 25,000): adds dynamic tagging, Tag Cloud, AI CTR, AccuRanker Search Volume, Google Data Studio (Looker Studio) and an unlimited read API.
  • Enterprise, above 25,000 keywords: price on request, with Google BigQuery, an unlimited write API, raw SERP HTML, enhanced speed and a dedicated customer success manager.
  • Billing and users: the AccuRanker pricing page opens on yearly billing; AccuRanker says annual payment gives a 10% discount, so monthly billing costs more. All current plans include unlimited users, and you can import data from your previous tool.
  • No free trial: the plan buttons say Buy now or Request a demo, and the old free-trial address now redirects to the demo page. AccuRanker offers a 14-day refund from the initial purchase.

Research and AI visibility. AccuRanker is not only a tracker any more. Its keyword research database covers more than 24 billion keywords by AccuRanker's count: you look up any domain, see what it ranks for and filter for content gaps your competitors cover and you do not. What it lacks next to KWFinder is a beginner-friendly difficulty workflow for brand-new topics. AccuLLM tracks how your brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, with a 1 to 100 sentiment score, the sources the models cite and prompt suggestions; it is priced separately.
Best for: agencies, in-house SEO teams and startups that already rank for thousands of keywords and need fast daily data, unlimited colleagues and an API.

Mangools: a keyword research suite with a simple rank tracker

Mangools sells one bundle of tools, and the Mangools FAQ says they are not sold separately because they depend on each other: KWFinder's keyword difficulty score is based on SERPChecker data. KWFinder finds long-tail keywords with low difficulty: you search by keyword or by a competitor's domain, pick a location and language, and get search volumes with their history, CPC and a difficulty score. Mangools says it draws on 2.5 billion related keywords and about 100 million competitor keywords checked each month, in about 65,000 locations from countries down to cities.

KWFinder: search by keyword or by a competitor's domain
  • The other tools: SERPChecker shows the search results for a keyword with 45+ SEO metrics per ranking page; LinkMiner finds a competitor's backlinks; SiteProfiler checks a domain's authority, backlinks and top content; AI Search Watcher tracks your brand in ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Mistral and Llama.
  • Free plan: a free account with no credit card gives 5 KWFinder lookups per 24 hours, with 15 related and 5 competitor keywords per lookup.
  • Basic, €37.70 a month billed yearly (€452.40 a year): 100 keyword lookups and 100 SERP lookups per 24 hours, 200 suggestions per search, 200 tracked keywords updated weekly, 100,000 backlink rows a month, 20 site analyses a day and no extra seats.
  • Premium (€52.70) and Agency (€97.70), billed yearly: 500 or 1,200 lookups a day, unlimited suggestions, 700 or 1,500 tracked keywords (weekly on Premium, daily on Agency) and 3 or 5 extra seats.
  • Monthly billing and refunds: the Mangools pricing page opens on annual billing and shows Basic at €452.40 a year against a crossed-out €732.00 for monthly payment; Mangools says yearly billing saves about 35%. A full refund is available within 48 hours of payment. API and MCP access are included in every plan.

Rank tracking in Mangools. SERPWatcher is deliberately simple: it updates rankings weekly (daily only on Agency), turns your positions and search volumes into one Performance Index, sends email alerts about important changes and shares interactive reports by link. It covers 65,000+ locations on desktop and mobile. For 200 keywords and a weekly check, that is enough; it is not built for thousands of keywords tracked every day.

Best for: founders, content writers and small marketing teams who are still deciding what to write and want one affordable tool for research, competitor checks and basic tracking.

Price per Tracked Keyword: Why the Two Are Hard to Compare

Both pricing pages open on yearly billing, so the prices below compare like with like. Mangools is far cheaper, but its price buys a research suite with a small weekly tracker, while AccuRanker's price buys daily tracking for many more keywords. By our own calculation, Mangools Basic works out at about €0.19 per tracked keyword a month (weekly updates) and Mangools Agency at about €0.07 (daily updates), while AccuRanker Professional costs about €0.11 and Expert about €0.08 per keyword a month (daily updates). So up to 1,500 keywords Mangools is cheaper even for daily tracking; above that you need AccuRanker or another dedicated tracker, and AccuRanker's price also covers unlimited users, two-hourly refreshes and an API.
Monthly price on yearly billing by plan and tracked keywords: Mangools Basic 200 keywords weekly €37.70, Mangools Premium 700 keywords weekly €52.70, Mangools Agency 1,500 keywords daily €97.70, AccuRanker Professional 2,000 keywords daily €224, AccuRanker Expert 10,000 keywords daily €764

What Changed Since the Old Version of This Comparison

  • Prices were wrong. The old article said Mangools starts at $29 a month. Today Mangools Basic costs €37.70 a month on yearly billing (€452.40 a year), and AccuRanker's cheapest plan is €224 a month billed yearly for 2,000 keywords.
  • No more "real-time" tracking claims. AccuRanker updates every day and lets you refresh every two hours; Mangools' SERPWatcher updates weekly, and daily only on Agency.
  • AccuRanker has no free trial now. Its free-trial address redirects to a demo request; you can buy a plan and use the 14-day refund instead.
  • Both added AI search tracking. AccuRanker launched AccuLLM and an MCP connection for AI assistants; Mangools added AI Search Watcher PRO to every plan, plus API and MCP access.
  • Removed: an Adobe Analytics integration we could not find on accuranker.com, a market statistic with no source, links to third-party review sites and a generic "common mistakes" list.

AccuRanker or Mangools: Which One Should You Choose?

  • Pre-launch or a young website: Mangools. Start on the free plan to test KWFinder on your niche, then move to Basic when 5 lookups a day are not enough. Google Search Console shows your average positions for free while you grow.
  • A few hundred keywords, weekly check is fine: Mangools Basic or Premium. You get research, competitor checks and SERPWatcher in one subscription for €37.70 or €52.70 a month on yearly billing.
  • You need daily tracking but not 2,000 keywords: Mangools Agency tracks 1,500 keywords daily for €97.70 a month on yearly billing, or look at a cheaper dedicated tracker in our Wincher vs AccuRanker comparison.
  • 2,000 keywords or more, several colleagues or clients: AccuRanker. Unlimited users, refreshes every two hours, tagging, an API and fast reporting are what you pay for.
  • You care about ChatGPT and AI Overviews: both now track AI visibility. Mangools includes AI Search Watcher PRO in every plan; AccuRanker sells AccuLLM separately with deeper sentiment and citation reports.
  • Budget for both: a growing content team often keeps Mangools for research and moves tracking to AccuRanker once the keyword list passes a few thousand.

How Founders Use AccuRanker, Mangools and Other SEO Tools

Most early-stage startups do not need enterprise rank tracking. A simple routine works: find 20 to 50 keywords your customers type, publish one useful page for each, and check once a week what moved. Our guides to finding long-tail keywords and checking competitor keywords show the research side; if you want to spend nothing at first, see our list of free rank trackers and free keyword planner tools.

Keyword research only pays off when you publish. The F/MS AI SEO Tool turns your keywords into articles written to rank on Google and to be cited by AI assistants, and the AI SEO blog has more how-tos. Then track those pages in SERPWatcher or AccuRanker.

FAQ: AccuRanker vs Mangools

What is the main difference between AccuRanker and Mangools?

AccuRanker is a dedicated rank tracker that updates thousands of keywords every day, with some keyword research and AI visibility tracking. Mangools is a keyword research suite (KWFinder, SERPChecker, LinkMiner, SiteProfiler) with a simple weekly rank tracker, SERPWatcher.

Which one should a startup buy first?

Mangools, in most cases. You first need to know which keywords to target, Mangools has a free plan, and Basic costs €37.70 a month billed yearly. AccuRanker makes sense once you track 2,000 or more keywords.

How much does AccuRanker cost in 2027?

When we checked in October 2026, AccuRanker Professional cost €224 a month billed yearly for 2,000 keywords and Expert €764 a month billed yearly for 10,000 keywords. Above 25,000 keywords the price is on request. Monthly billing costs about 10% more.

How much does Mangools cost?

On the default annual billing, Mangools Basic costs €37.70 a month (€452.40 a year), Premium €52.70 and Agency €97.70 a month. Mangools says yearly billing saves about 35% against monthly payment.

Is there a free version of AccuRanker or Mangools?

Mangools has a free plan with no credit card: 5 KWFinder lookups per 24 hours with 15 related and 5 competitor keywords each. AccuRanker has no free trial; it offers a demo and a 14-day refund after purchase.

Can Mangools replace AccuRanker?

For a small site, yes: SERPWatcher tracks 200 keywords weekly on Basic and 1,500 keywords daily on Agency. It has no two-hourly refreshes, no unlimited users and is not built for tens of thousands of keywords.

Can AccuRanker replace Mangools?

Partly. AccuRanker's keyword research database shows what any domain ranks for and where your content gaps are, but KWFinder's difficulty score and long-tail suggestions are stronger for picking brand-new topics.

Which tool tracks AI search visibility?

Both. AccuRanker's AccuLLM tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and AI Mode and is priced separately. Mangools includes AI Search Watcher PRO, with 500 monitored prompts, in every paid plan.

Where can I submit a guest post about my startup?

You can publish a guest post in one of the Fe/male Switch startup blogs, which rank in Google and in AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. Get a quality backlink.

Can I use AI to write SEO articles from my keywords?
