Mangools sells a bundle of small tools that each do one job and share one login. Its homepage promises easy-to-rank keywords, competitor weak spots, rank tracking and visibility in AI tools, and the interface is known for being simple. Mangools says its keyword database holds more than 2.5 billion keywords and covers more than 65,000 city-level locations.
- KWFinder: keyword research by keyword or by a competitor's domain, with a difficulty score; its tagline is finding long-tail keywords with low SEO difficulty.
- SERPChecker: shows who ranks for a keyword with 45+ SEO metrics, as desktop or mobile results in more than 65,000 locations.
- SERPWatcher: rank tracking with a Performance Index and shareable reports; rankings update weekly, or daily on the Agency plan.
- LinkMiner: a backlink checker that Mangools says draws on 9.5 trillion backlinks, including Majestic's fresh and historic index.

Price: What a Small Budget Buys
Mangools is cheaper to start: Basic costs €37.70 a month on yearly billing, less than half of SE Ranking Core at €87.20. Even Mangools Agency (€97.70) costs only a little more than SE Ranking Core. But the plans are not the same size. For the price of Core, SE Ranking tracks 2,000 keywords every day and adds unlimited research, a site audit and local SEO; Mangools Agency tracks 1,500 keywords daily, and the cheaper Mangools plans update rankings weekly. If you only need a few dozen keywords and fresh keyword ideas, Mangools Basic is enough. If you track hundreds of keywords or need audits, SE Ranking gives more for each euro.

Keyword research
This is where Mangools shines. KWFinder shows search volume, trend, difficulty and the current top results on one screen, and you can search by a competitor's domain to see what it ranks for. The limit is volume: Basic allows 100 keyword lookups per 24 hours, which is plenty for a founder writing a few articles a week. SE Ranking's keyword research is unlimited on Core and its database is larger by its own count, but there are more reports and filters to learn.

SE Ranking was built as a rank tracker: Core checks 2,000 keywords every day and keeps 6 months of history. Mangools' SERPWatcher is simpler and prettier, but on Basic and Premium it updates weekly, for 200 or 700 keywords. For a new site checking progress once a week, weekly data is fine; if you run campaigns and want to see changes the next day, choose SE Ranking or Mangools Agency.
Backlinks and authority
Both tools let you see who links to a competitor. SE Ranking includes unlimited backlink research and monitoring on Core. Mangools' LinkMiner and SiteProfiler use Majestic data and Moz metrics, with a cap of 100,000 backlink rows a month on Basic. For a startup looking for a handful of link ideas, both are enough; for regular link building at scale, SE Ranking has fewer limits.
Site audit and local SEO
Here SE Ranking is the clear choice. Core audits up to 250,000 pages a month for technical problems, and local SEO is built in, with 3 locations and a local and map rank tracker for 1,500 keywords. Mangools does not include a site audit tool.
